What if eating meat and cheese as part of your daily diet really is as harmful as smoking?

Since the Decarb Diet is a LCHF (low-carb, high fat) diet which relies on an increase of animal fat and is NOT A HIGH PROTEIN diet, I decided to post a short response to the findings. My aim is to reassure people who use a low-carb diet that this study has no relevance to their way of eating and that they have nothing to fear from the scare tactics.

The biggest flaw is in The Study is that it is based on bad data.

Response to article: Debunking canola oil myths (Health24 4 Nov 2013)

It is difficult to see how an article "debunking" the dangers of canola oil can have any legitimacy when it appears on a page that is branded with a buy canola oil banner advert, a buy canola oil background image as well as a buy canola right pane advert.

Goodbye Gandolfini, we will miss you.

My son Gabes and I spent many hours watching James Gandolfini play the role of the lovable, detestable Tony Soprano in the Soprano's series.  We loved to watch him. We admired his talent and we still firmly believe that the Soprano's is the greatest series ever produced. However I often used to watch him move about on screen, with a sure knowledge that he was not in perfect health.
